Jim Barratt supports the efforts of Thrive DC. The organization offers free shower at the facility. Jim noticed that the guests of Thrive DC needed toiletries to take showers. He reached out to his colleagues, who travel frequently, asking them to save the complimentary soaps and shampoos that hotels offer their guests. He collects the donations and periodically takes them to the Thrive DC offices. In addition, Jim spearheaded a winter clothing drive for Thrive DC. Many of his colleagues provided coats, scarfs, socks, and undergarments for the people in need in the cold winter months.
