Ankura Bulletin Recommends Mitigation Activities to Deter Iranian Cyber Threat

January 16, 2020

Ankura has announced that as a result of escalating tensions in the Middle East, Ankura’s Cyber Threat Analysis and Pursuit Team (CTAPT) considers the likelihood of Iranian retaliatory actions to be high.

In its latest Cyber Threat Bulletin, Ankura experts reveal the industry sectors most at risk – including energy/oil and gas, defence, public utilities, and financial service institutions – and posits that sustained and sophisticated cyber espionage campaigns against political targets are very likely over the next few months.

Ankura’s experts know that the challenge for many organizations is translating intelligence into action. Which is why they have analysed intelligence and developed a list of recommended mitigation activities and tactical actions to combat a potential Iranian threat in the Ankura Cyber Threat Bulletin.
