Ankura Appoints Elaine Lehnert as Managing Director

Financial Reporting and Internal Controls Expert Strengthens Investigations & Accounting Advisory Group
Dec. 8 2016, Washington, DC – Ankura Consulting Group (Ankura), a business advisory and expert services firm, announced today the appointment of Elaine Lehnert as Managing Director. Based in the firm’s New Jersey office, Ms. Lehnert will work within Ankura’s Investigations & Accounting Advisory group.
Ms. Elaine Lehnert joins Ankura as Managing Director with more than 20 years of experience including financial statement audit, internal controls, financial reporting, forensic accounting, fraud investigation and litigation/arbitration. Ms. Lehnert’s experience spans Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) internal controls development and assessment and the development of technical accounting guidance. She has led teams conducting: internal audits for publicly-traded international property and casualty insurance companies; performing independent fiduciary review of pension fund’s assets, liabilities, and internal control systems in response to a whistleblower actions; and provided SOX assistance to publicly-traded consumer and financial services companies. Ms. Lehnert was most recently with FTI Consulting.
