Victor Padilla Joins Ankura as Managing Director

Ankura Expands Advisory Capabilities with Addition of Anti-Fraud and Anti-Corruption Investigations Expert
WASHINGTON D.C. – September 26, 2018 – Ankura, a leading business advisory and expert services firm that leverages integrated risk management, governance, compliance, investigations, forensics, technology, turnaround and restructuring, and management consulting capabilities, today announced the appointment of Victor Padilla to Managing Director. Based in Dallas, TX, Mr. Padilla brings to the firm a global perspective and more than 15 years of experience in anti-corruption efforts, forensic accounting, corporate investigations, fraud detection, and advanced data analytics.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Padilla has worked on a multitude of cases involving kickbacks, collusive bidding, money laundering, embezzlement, financial record manipulation among many other unlawful activities. He has led forensic investigations and compliance assessments, including ones related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), in the United States and across numerous countries including Mexico, Canada, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil. Mr. Padilla will leverage his global experience to help expand Ankura’s reach, particularly in Central and South America, in addition to developing robust forensic data analytics solutions to corruption and forensics challenges worldwide.

Prior to joining Ankura, Victor served as director at RSM US and as a principal at Berkeley Research Group. During his tenure, Victor built state-of-the-art forensic data analytics programs and collaborated with anti-corruption investigators on forensic investigations issues. Earlier in his career, Victor honed his expertise at Deloitte where he utilized advanced data analytics to effectively focus efforts in a number of high-profile investigations.
