Amber Gosney is a Senior Director based in London who has more than eight years of project management experience and is an expert in leveraging technology to solve client challenges. She has led diverse and complex projects, including data privacy remediation programs, Foreign Corrupt Practice Act investigations, mergers and acquisitions reviews, second requests, internal investigations, and other matters.
Amber has been a key member of Ankura’s GDPR privacy team, drafting policies and procedures for multinational corporations to prepare them for GDPR compliance. She has also spoken on panels and at industry events related to leveraging technology for elements of GDPR compliance, including special emphasis on data breaches and data subject access requests. She regularly works with information security professionals at Ankura to implement privacy by design and privacy by default for organisations. She also provides training related to elements of the GDPR as well as best practices for employees.
Amber has a special focus on investigations related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. She is versed in dealing with multiple jurisdictions, regulators, and Tier 1 law firms globally. She is well versed in case strategy and the application of technology between jurisdictions. Representative matters include; behavioral competition matters involving the DOJ, EC, and JFTC, internal investigations, arbitrations and complex litigation both in the US, UK, and continental Europe.
Prior to joining Ankura, Amber worked internationally to facilitate large-scale global cases, serving as a client training lead which led to a special secondment in the UK in 2014 and full-time employment in London in 2016.
