Preeti Inchody is a Managing Director at Ankura based in Sydney. She is a corporate finance practitioner. Preeti has expertise in advising companies navigating M&A, capital raisings and strategic investments. Preeti has acted for both capital providers and companies in both due diligence and lead advisory roles.

    Preeti has more than 20 years of experience across corporate finance and capital markets.

    For more than 10 years, Preeti has successfully advised clients on M&A transactions in Australia and New Zealand and has well established credentials and track record in both local and cross-border M&A.

    Preeti started her career with Kotak Group, one of India’s largest financial conglomerates, and was a Deputy Vice President in the capital markets division before moving to Australia.

    Select recent engagements that Preeti has successfully led:

    • Trade sale of a fast growing Australian TGA regulated therapeutics laboratory to a Europe based buyer.
    • Sale of e-commerce retailer to an Australian PE and divestures of overseas business units of the company in UK and US.
    • Buy side advice to investors who acquired a well known Australian cosmetics brand with national footprint.
    • Carve out and due diligence support for a private equity manufacturing and distribution business which was successfully sold to a Europe based buyer (~ $75m exit value). Also led the sale of a manufacturing facility (a non-core asset) in the group.
    • Commercial due diligence for a private equity fund making a multi billion dollar bid for an ASX listed media company.
    • Due diligence for a debt fund evaluating an investment into an oil and gas service provider.
    • Detailed operational modelling for the Australian operations of the ASX listed cannabis company used to support further equity raising and capital markets transactions
    • Capital raising support for a sustainable recycled pallet producer and disruptor in its sector, during the COVID period.
