• Performed and managed numerous valuations in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, for both tax and financial reporting purposes. Representative client industries include retail, health services, manufacturing, client services, and technology.
• Advised a private equity firm with over $10 billion in assets on the value of its fixed income and equity holdings in conjunction with its monthly reporting to investors.
• Provided comprehensive valuation services to a national retail pharmacy chain during numerous engagements. Representative engagements include valuations performed in connection with acquisitions and dispositions of businesses, valuations performed for regulatory purposes, and annual valuations performed for financial reporting purposes.
• Assisted early-stage private companies with the valuation of complex equity securities for financial reporting purposes and in connection with employee stock option grants and stock option expensing procedures. Representative client industries include life sciences, technology, and energy.
• Advised various financial services institutions with assets sizes ranging from $1 billion to $13 billion on the values of their assets and liabilities including loans, deposits, customer relationship intangibles, trade names, other investments, and goodwill.
• Provided valuation services to an industry-leading global manufacturer during numerous engagements. Representative engagements include valuations performed in connection with mergers and acquisitions ranging from $15 million to $500 million in total transaction value.
• Advised a $13 billion global media company on the value of its more than 50 publishing and broadcasting business units in conjunction with a leveraged transaction. In addition to performing individual business enterprise valuations, assisted management with developing financial projections for certain reporting units, conducted detailed financial analyses of each business unit, and performed marketplace analyses.
• Performed due diligence analysis related to a $250 million asset acquisition for a $750 million total asset bank seeking to expand its presence in the Midwest United States.
