Alan’s professional experience includes:

• Interim Chief Operating Officer for a luxury automotive leasing and subscription service.
• COO/Chief Restructuring Officer for a vehicle fleet graphics enterprise.
• COO/CRO for a mid-stage internet travel start-up with a multi-tranche, multimillion-dollar intertwined capital structure.
• Fund Manager for four oil and gas investment funds.
• Interim Finance Manager for a precision aerospace engineering company.
• Led activities for operational analysis, bankruptcy financial recovery analysis, crisis communications, bankruptcy schedules and statements of financial affairs, restructuring plan feasibility analysis, ballot tabulations and distributions, wind-down operations, and creditor distributions.
• Founded and led operations for a corporate restructuring case management group.
• In-house restructuring legal advisor to the CRO of a $1B NYC-based healthcare system.

Alan has practiced as legal counsel to debtors in several corporate Chapter 11 restructurings and wind-downs. His responsibilities have included preparing first day motions, providing guidance to financial advisors on Schedule of Assets and Liabilities and Statement of Financial Affairs preparation, performing preference and fraudulent transfer analyses, drafting disclosure statements and plans of reorganization, negotiating claims, and drafting financing documents.
