Ankura employees across the globe came together to raise funds for those facing food insecurity during this pandemic. One organization that Ankura supported is World Central Kitchen and its mission to provide thousands of meals each day to those struggling with the realities of COVID-19.
Many of Ankura’s leaders volunteer their time and expertise to serve on the boards of nonprofits in their communities. Linda MacDonald, Senior Managing Director in Ankura’s New York office, serves on the board of RVNAhealth, an organization that provides health care and wellness services. Linda plays a significant role in providing governance expertise to ensure the advancement and sustainability of RVNAhealth for the long term.
Giving thanks to those that serve. Each year, Ankura’s employees across the United States participate in Veterans Day activities to write letters of appreciation to servicepersons and to assemble paracord bracelets that could be used in the field for a number of survival needs.
Ankura employees have raised thousands of dollars to help support rare cancer research. Cycle for Survival has become a fun annual event to raise money for a great cause.
Ankura supports Only Make Believe in their work to create and perform interactive theatre for children in hospitals, care facilities and special education programs. Ankura employees have come together to collaborate in creating fun costumes to be used in OMB performances.
Ankura supports Win (Women in Need), a not-for-profit organization that provides shelter and support services to homeless women and children. Ankura employees came together to volunteer at the Camp Win program and support Win’s Holiday Gift initiatives.
Ankura has developed a deep partnership with Her Justice and has participated with the organization in many ways including volunteering, fundraising and board leadership. Her Justice stands with women living in poverty and helps to provide free legal counsel to achieve safety and self-sufficiency.
