Andrew Koch is a Senior Director at Ankura Office of the CFO® based in Chicago with over nine years of experience working in various areas of finance including investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, microfinance, and international development. His work experience spans a range of industries including manufacturing, food and beverage, retail, mining, renewable energy, healthcare, and technology.
Experience
Andrew’s broad range of experience includes:
- Served as interim director of revenue for $3 billion tech-enabled hospitality company through SPAC merger. Partnered with finance, sales, and business analytics leadership to redesign revenue and sales growth forecasting processes leading to 10% more accurate net revenue projections across over 120 operating markets.
- Served as interim manager of FP&A for $300 million PE-backed software firm undergoing a business model transformation and leadership change. Redesigned monthly reporting package and developed three-year long-range planning model.
- Designed and implemented a revenue to cash conversion management tool for a $120 million physician practice which led to over $2 million in annual revenue enhancement.
- Advised HSM Solutions, a components manufacturer for the furniture, bedding, transportation, packaging, and healthcare industries, on its asset sale to Arsenal Capital Partners.
Prior to joining Ankura, Andrew worked in private equity and venture capital with LaSalle Capital, Mesoamerica, and Polymath Ventures. Prior to his career in private equity, he was a community and economic development volunteer with the Peace Corps working in rural Colombia with communities on financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Before serving in the Peace Corps, he worked for Wells Fargo Securities’ investment banking platform with a focus on sell-side M&A engagements.
