Benjie Jenkins

Benjie has worked with many of the world’s largest international oil and gas and mining companies on projects in North America, Europe, and Australia, and has supported state-owned energy companies in the Middle East, South America, and Asia.

His recent projects include:

• Creating guidelines and procedures for non‑operated asset management for a leading Middle Eastern national energy company, and supporting more than a dozen upstream and downstream teams in embedding this new framework in daily operations.
• Advising a large mining JV in Asia on adjusting its governance structure ahead of a major expansion phase, including rewriting the board’s charter, redesigning its committees, and developing new processes for key governance decisions such as the annual budget.
• Developing a practical governance framework for a new South American mining JV, translating legal agreements into clear guidance on how the venture will operate day‑to‑
• Advising an early‑stage green hydrogen consortium on refining its collaboration model for the next phase of project development.

Prior to joining Ankura, Benjie worked as a senior strategist with a boutique consulting firm in New York City advising clients in financial services, technology and healthcare on corporate strategy, change management, and organizational culture.
