Darri L. Scalzo

Darri has assisted academic medical centers, research organizations, and clinical practices build their research compliance programs; conducted assessments of the status of research compliance and research operations, the oversight of clinical trials, the clinical research revenue cycle including coverage analysis, budgeting and billing, and monitoring activities in place to ensure data integrity; conducted audits of coverage analysis processes and procedures; and recommended policies and procedures to improve compliance surrounding the clinical research revenue cycle and the conduct of clinical trials.

Prior to joining Ankura, Darri served for 12 years as the Research Compliance Officer for an academic health center, where she oversaw the overall research compliance program, directed and performed audits of human subject research studies, animal research protocols, the Institutional Review Board, and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, assisted in investigations of research misconduct and undue foreign influence, and managed the research compliance and responsible conduct of research education programs.
