Greg Cimilluca is a Managing Director at Ankura and a member of the Proactive Cybersecurity team, working on client engagements and internal initiatives across the firm’s cybersecurity practices. He brings more than 20 years of experience in product management and technology leadership, with a focus on product strategy, portfolio management, and improving how organizations plan and deliver value.
Experience
Greg works with business and technical leaders to turn complex needs into clear priorities and practical plans. His experience spans cybersecurity, financial services, digital media, and enterprise software. He has built and led multidisciplinary teams, established product and delivery processes, and helped organizations make better decisions about resources and investments.
- Prior to joining Ankura, Greg served as Head of Product, Technical Strategy and Delivery at State Street, where he also held Chief of Staff responsibilities for Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering. His portfolio included remediation, cloud security, vulnerability management, and product development. His contributions refactored and improved the “how we work” equation for State Street Cyber, leading to greater visibility into priorities and progress of value delivery.
- Greg has also helped in the startup world bring the company’s flagship cybersecurity product to market and shaped portfolio strategy and roadmaps that supported substantial growth in recurring revenue. He led product management, design, and delivery teams, refined software development processes, and worked with sales and marketing leadership to connect customer needs with product decisions.
- Greg’s earlier leadership roles include Esports Engine, National Geographic, and CBS Interactive. At Esports Engine, he led the evolution of single-use products into a platform designed for broader use across games and industries. At National Geographic, he launched Unique Lodges of the World, an e-commerce experience that received a 2016 Webby Award. His work at CBS included product leadership across fantasy sports and industry first live-streaming experience March Madness on Demand.
