Julia Moore is a Senior Director at Ankura, based in Nashville. She has more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise and transformational change at Fortune 500 organizations. As a trusted advisor and coach, Julia combines strategic thinking, collaborative leadership, and operational excellence to deliver exceptional results.

Experience

Julia joined Ankura with the firm’s 2018 acquisition of c3/Consulting. She has led enterprise projects – integrations, global systems redesign, and process redesigns among them – with clients in a broad range of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, software, professional services, financial services, banking, and insurance. Over the course of her career, Julia has developed deep functional expertise in the areas of healthcare, information technology, and supply chain.

Prior to her work with c3, Julia held leadership positions in software development at HCA and Delta Airlines, including in the role of quality assurance manager. She has also served as the COO of a healthcare startup, with broad responsibilities for software development, government contracting, people management, and more.

Julia’s professional experience includes:

  • Software-System Multi-Country Deployment, Financial Services Company: Coached and mentored the team that delivered the Oracle-based enterprise resource planning system to more than five countries, reducing the adoption time in each market by half compared to original projections and saving the client more than $5 million overall.
  • Global Implementation of Mobile App, Financial Services Company: Created a prioritized, phased implementation plan with training, change, and communication components for successful adoption. Julia managed development cycles to deliver quality functionality to users at each phase and developed the process for supporting users.
  • Document Management Strategy, Healthcare Insurance Processor: Worked closely with the client to capture requirements for automating a manual process and translate those into detailed specifications for the development team. Julia managed the development cycles through full testing and training.
  • Multi-Site EHR Implementation, Healthcare Organization: Led the client through software selection that would support a multi-company integration and centralized billing initiative, then worked closely with the vendor, IT, clinician, and business teams. Julia created and managed the implementation with client’s employees, including the optimization of clinical processes, the overhaul of billing practices, customizing training materials, and the organization-wide roll out.
  • Quality Process Management, Fortune 500 Healthcare Provider: Designed test plans and scripts to best validate the business and technical requirements while working closely with the project team to manage the schedule and needs of the business. Julia managed the resources for test planning, estimation, and execution, ensuring proper documentation of results, defects, and recommendations, including audit, SOX, and HIPAA.
