Kalyan Kolli

Kalyan’s career spans the full lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions, including operational diligence, valuation support, integration planning, and synergy realization. He has repeatedly delivered significant Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization and Return on Invested Capital improvement through robust commercial, operational, and organizational transformation programs. His background includes extensive interim executive work, where he has stepped into pivotal leadership roles, such as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Transformation Officer, to stabilize underperforming assets and accelerate value-creation roadmaps.

For nearly three decades, Kalyan has led large-scale restructuring and improvement initiatives across sectors, including technology, industrials, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, healthcare, energy, retail, consumer goods, and business services. His cross-functional expertise covers commercial excellence, pricing strategy, customer experience, product development, research and development optimization, supply chain and manufacturing improvements, sourcing, footprint strategy, selling, general, and administrative effectiveness, and operating model design.

Kalyan has worked extensively in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, leading transformation programs and cross-border teams. He has executed complex carve-outs, organizational redesigns, and multibillion-dollar cost and growth programs, as well as guided portfolio companies through pre-close planning, post-close value capture, and long-term strategic repositioning.

Prior to joining Ankura, Kalyan held senior leadership roles at global consulting firms, where he directed strategy, transformation, and restructuring efforts for Fortune 500 companies and private equity portfolio businesses, supporting both buy-side and sell-side objectives. His work consistently delivered measurable performance improvements, including cost reductions, commercial uplift, operational efficiency, and organizational productivity.
