Kevin Lanier

Kevin is a member of the life sciences valuation sector at Ankura, advising biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies on the valuation issues they face related to regulatory compliance. He routinely consults with life science clients to provide compliance guidance and supportable fair market value analyses in connection with payments to healthcare professionals.

Kevin’s expertise includes assisting clients with developing and documenting fair market value hourly rates to healthcare professionals for speaking engagements, serving on advisory boards, clinical research services, and other consulting services. He has developed fair market value rates for all physician specialties, nursing specialties, PhDs, pharmacists, hospital executives, clinical and operational support staff, patients, patient advocates, and more in over 100 countries. In addition, Kevin assists clients with developing tier criteria, performing tier assessments and addressing fair market value rate exceptions/appeals.

Kevin’s experience also includes valuations of fee-for-service arrangements, including bona fide service fees, for services performed for life sciences companies and provided by various market access channel partners, including specialty pharmacies, specialty distributors, third-party logistics, wholesalers, group purchasing organizations, HUBs, data providers, copay program administrators, and pharmacy benefit managers, among others.
