Komal has worked directly with corporate clients and their legal advisors, as well as with government bodies including the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Conduct Authority, and the Department of Justice, often on multijurisdictional cases where mobile forensic laboratories have been implemented due to strict data protection rules.

Komal’s professional experience includes:

• Management of one of the largest global financial investigations spread across various countries. The case involved 26 terabytes of data with ongoing disclosures to the UK, the U.S., and Swiss regulators.
• Management of a high-profile UK phone hacking scandal. Case involved high net-worth individuals, celebrities, and senior government officials, 30 terabytes of highly confidential data, and working at the client site alongside multiple law firms.
• Management of a large asset tracing case involving a high net-worth family in the Middle East. The case involved 3 terabytes of data originating from multiple sources and had multiple streams leading to separate claims.
• Management of a whistle blower investigation for a Russian oil company headquartered in Moscow. Spent six months on site in Moscow, managing end to end e-discovery, processing through disclosure on 3.5 terabytes of data.
