Lauren Herder is a Senior Managing Director at Ankura based Atlanta, and is part of the Ankura Office of the CFO® practice where she specializes in serving clients on operational finance improvements with an emphasis in accounting and related strategies. Lauren brings 19 years of finance experience, including 14 in finance transformation consulting. She has worked across a variety of industries, including consumer business, technology services and life sciences.
Experience
Lauren partners with finance and operations executives to design new business operating models, performance management strategy, and unlock new organization capabilities. She has deep finance expertise in record-to-report, specializing in helping clients drive faster access to financial results by optimizing the month-end close, training and developing people and getting the most out of technology. She has a passion for collaborating with executives to drive transformation across the organization and enabling her clients to make long lasting change.
Prior to joining Ankura, she spent 10 years at a large professional services company in the business consulting practice, where she was appointed director of operations for the global finance consulting practice.
At a previous firm, Lauren also co-authored Market Offerings to operationalize changes to accounting standards, including the Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) standard. Lauren began her career as a financial analyst and accountant for rapid growth companies.
