Matthew Lapish

Prior to joining Ankura, Matthew was Director of the Capital Advisory and Restructuring group at Fairfield Capital Advisors. There, he led the execution of sell-side M&A and capital raising assignments for clients in the automotive, packaging, distribution, and business services markets. Before joining Fairfield, he founded and was a Managing Director at Chapel Street Capital, where he led corporate development for several PE-backed technology companies. Prior to founding Chapel Street, he was a Director at a turnaround and restructuring advisory firm, where he led both debtor and creditor side engagements for clients in distribution, manufacturing, and consumer goods industries.

Matthew previously led corporate development for PennWell Corp, an international B2B media company, prior to its sale to Clarion Events, a Blackstone-backed company, where he was responsible for M&A, divestitures, and internal strategic assignments. Matthew started his career in investment banking positions with BDO Capital and Bank of America, where his work included M&A, restructuring, and special assets workout.
