Robert Jones is a Managing Director at Ankura, based in London. He is responsible for developing and expanding the firm’s business in the UK and overseas. Over the last 19 years, Robert has worked on a wide range of disputes, investigations, and proactive compliance initiatives and has led successful engagements with law firms, corporations, small to medium enterprises (SMEs), government agencies, and individuals.
Experience
Robert has guided clients from across a wide range of industries, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, construction, shipping, consumer packaged goods, media, transport and logistics, and manufacturing. He has considerable experience beyond the UK, working with clients throughout continental Europe. Over his career, Robert has developed expertise in contentious matters related to product liability, pensions, antitrust, merger control, and white-collar crime. His other legal experience includes information governance projects and competition law compliance reviews.
Prior to joining Ankura, Robert worked for a boutique eDiscovery practice and served on the litigation team of a top 10 international law firm. He is a thought-leader who regularly speaks and writes about IT forensics and the influence of search technologies on current business trends.
