Ryan’s professional experience includes:

• $7 Billion Private Equity (PE)-Owned Multi-Brand Restaurant Franchise: Led five-year strategic planning initiative across seven brands supporting over 33,000 locations; built a three-statement financial model to support broad forecasting efforts, including department-level shared services; conducted scenario analyses for $5 billion debt refinancing with initial public offering considerations; instituted automated workforce planning processes/analytics.
• $1 Billion Rental/Subscription Car Company: Acted as Interim VP of FP&A; led annual budgeting, long-term planning, monthly board reporting and analytics; built reusable models for more than $500 million asset-backed security funding scenarios; led mergers and acquisitions and footprint expansion initiatives by building business cases and leading conversations with operational partners.
• $1 Billion E-Commerce Retail Business: Led financial integration analysis for $40 million acquisition an over 300-store specialty home décor retailer; built consolidated short-term financial integration model and long-term outlook to support investor and bank discussions; identified more than $25 million in overhead and operational cost synergies; collaborated with C-suite to develop investment committee presentation, including pro forma financials, deal structure and purchase price allocation, valuation scenarios, and integration roadmap.
• $80 Million Agricultural Financial Services Business: Led strategic planning effort by building a three-statement model and collaborated with treasury on capital funding models; enhanced annual budgeting processes, including business partner relationships; supported chief financial officer (CFO) and board through a more than $500 million debt refinancing and $60 million equity fundraise.
• $100 Million Venture-Backed Digital Health Software as a Service (SaaS) and Hardware Startup: Supported build out of FP&A function including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning; developed three-statement model with operational key performance indicators (KPIs) supporting continued rounds of equity fundraising; created customer cohort forecast models across Depository Trust Company, business-to-business (B2B), and wholesale channels.
• $5 Billion Publicly-Traded Omnichannel Retailer: Operated as Chief of Staff to senior vice president of finance; developed comprehensive integrated three-statement model for long-range planning; designed automated KPI reporting for corporate and product finance teams; designed corporate FP&A operating model and path for reorganization; supported implementation of Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service financial planning platform.
• $300 Million PE-Owned Marketing B2B SaaS Provider: Built recurring revenue models and frameworks for annual/monthly recurring revenue reporting and forecasting; developed automated Alteryx workflows for subscriber analysis saving over 100 hours monthly; enabled day three post-close reporting capabilities.

Prior to joining Ankura, Ryan was a Consultant in the CFO solutions practice at Berkeley Research Group, and before that was a Senior Associate in Forensic Consulting at PwC.
