Todd Landon
Managing Director
Todd Landon is a Managing Director with Ankura, based in Nashville. He has more than 15 years of experience leading large organizations through transformational change, including mergers and business integrations. He successfully manages cross-functional business and technology programs designed to improve operational effectiveness and reduce costs. Todd draws on his first-hand experience in operations management and his consulting expertise to guide clients confronting complex challenges. He has worked in a variety of industries including financial services, industrial manufacturing, technology solutions, healthcare, automotive, and media/entertainment.
Experience
Todd has extensive experience with HR information systems, shared services operations, compensation and rewards systems, and warehouse management and operations.
Prior to Ankura, Todd held leadership positions at the human resources shared services division of entertainment conglomerate Warner Bros. He served as executive director of HR information systems, responsible for managing global technology and operational improvement programs for HR, compensation and benefits, recruiting, and learning and organizational development.
Todd’s professional experience includes:
- Technology Program Management, Global Financial Services Firm: Led a process and technology transformation program to re-engineer the annual compensation/rewards program for more than 5,000 financial advisors and $500 million in associated rewards.
- Divestiture/Business Integration, Fortune 100 Healthcare Company: Led the separation and IT integration program for the sale of an entire division and its subsequent merger with an independent company. Todd managed 10 distinct work streams aimed at establishing integrated processes and technology across all IT functions for the newly-merged entity.
- Compliance/Risk Process Reengineering, Fortune 100 Healthcare Company: Defined and implemented cross-functional process and technology changes in response to a federal audit and to comply with federal regulation. Todd partnered with IT and business leadership to perform process analysis across multiple lines of business, identify existing gaps, and define changes promoting compliance and sustained operational effectiveness.
- Global Compensation System Upgrade, Fortune 500 Media/Entertainment Group: Led a global process and systems redesign for the entire organization’s annual compensation/rewards planning program, covering 7,500 employees across more than 30 countries.
- HR System Replacement, Fortune 500 Media/Entertainment Group: Executed the functional design for an HR system upgrade, replacing PeopleSoft with Workday, an initiative involving all HR and employee self-service transactions.
- Warehouse Operations Reengineering, Industrial Supply Distribution Company: Developed and implemented a staffing model to ensure same-day fulfillment and eliminate shipping delays. This effort increased fulfillment rates by 10 percent and reduced errors by a third over a 10-month period.
