Ankura Appoints Robert Bird as Managing Director

Dec. 1 2016, Washington, DC – Ankura Consulting Group (Ankura), a business advisory and expert services firm, announced today the appointment of Robert Bird as Managing Director. Mr. Bird will work within Ankura’s eDiscovery and Data Analytics practices within the Investigations & Accounting Advisory group. Mr. Bird will be based in Ankura’s newly established Boston, MA office at 60 State Street, Suite 700, Boston, MA 02109.

Mr. Robert Bird joins Ankura as Managing Director with more than 10 years of experience in eDiscovery and data analytics. He has led global teams in executing electronic data discovery projects for the banking, technology, and pharmaceutical industries relating to fraud, financial investigations, and product liability litigation. Mr. Bird’s projects have included multilingual Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations; complex, high-volume, Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) litigation; and litigations involving the financial, pharmaceutical, and technology industries. His technical expertise allows him to customize technology and utilize data analytics to identify key documents, organize data, and design efficient workflows. Mr. Bird was most recently with FTI Consulting.
