Patrick J. McGrath is a Senior Managing Director at Ankura, based in Chicago. For more than 30 years, he has supported clients facing significant challenges with product liabilities, mass torts, environmental pollution, and class actions. He specifically provides world class data analytics, damage allocation modeling, future liability forecasting, predictive modeling, and claims management services to companies facing complex and/or high-volume liability claims.

Experience

Patrick utilizes specialized technology tools and methods to quantify or rebut damages, estimate future liabilities, distribute potential liability among various parties, allocate claims to historical insurance policies, evaluate risk mitigation strategies, and support settlement negotiations in the following types of matters: asbestos bodily injury; environmental pollution; class actions; construction defect; medical device product liability; product recalls; railroad FELA claims; and chemical exposures.

Patrick has prepared numerous expert damage reports and provided expert testimony in both state and federal courts. He is a frequent speaker with organizations such as the American Bar Association and Perrin Conferences.
