How Our Professionals Give Back

Sarah Hull is a member of the National Ski Patrol (NSP) and serves as the treasurer of the North Central Region of the Central Division. As a patroller and treasurer she serves the NSP in multiple capacities:

  • Providing emergency medical and rescue services to skiers and snowboarders;
  • Promoting ski safety and enforcing area policies;
  • Assuring ski safety by working to set up the mountain before it opens by conducting trail checks, and setting up necessary equipment in preparation for the day, as well as conducting a sweep clearing of the mountain for off-hours; and
  • Maintaining the treasury for the North Central Region including drafting checks related to region operations, overseeing its long-term and short-term budgetary goals, and preparing analysis for tax reporting.

At her home hill, Granite Peak in Wisconsin, she patrols at least 100 hours per year assuring the safety of the skiing public.
