Ben is a cybersecurity executive and information security technology expert with deep experience leading cybersecurity teams and advisory services, conducting risk analysis and pre-sales support, and integrating new tools and processes to improve productivity and outcomes.
Prior to joining Ankura, Ben served as Vice President, Cyber Security Architecture at State Street, leading enterprise security architecture across cloud and on-premises environments and aligning security programs with frameworks including the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and Open Web Application Security Project, while advancing identity and access management architecture, compliance remediation, and AI security standards incorporating MITRE Adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Common Knowledge and MITRE Adversarial Threat Landscape for Artificial-Intelligence Systems concepts.
Ben’s domain expertise spans cybersecurity and information security with emphasis on areas such as network security, intrusion detection, computer forensics, malware analysis/decoding, and AI risk management.
In addition to his cybersecurity leadership work, Ben is the Founder and CEO of Eight Buffalo Media Group LLC and is a published author.
