Experience

Chris’ professional experience includes:

  • Growth-Strategy Support, Family-Owned Apartment-Investment Company: Helped position the client to attract capital from institutional investors. He also helped define, build, and implement industry standard tools and processes.
  • Cash-Flow Modeling, Retail Liquidation: Developed a forecast used in one of the largest retail liquidations in US that required weekly reforecasts and variance analyses to the original budgeted amounts.
  • Economic Impact Analysis, Class Action Lawsuit: Supported efforts to quantify the impact of a city-wide water crisis on select properties. Chris used databases from a variety of services to establish the universe of more than 39,000 parcels that were the basis for estimates of direct construction costs for repairs and remediation, indirect pricing for alternative living expenses, and lost rental business income.
  • Appraisal Methodology, Railroad Relief: Aided in the development of what is now the accepted standard for of the Surface Transportation Board for railroad rate relief cases.
  • Land Valuation, Federal Lawsuit: Assisted in the valuation of tribal land in legal action involving various Native American tribes and the US Department of Justice. Chris combined technical prowess with various mapping programs to develop a system that allowed for a seamless appraisal of Native American-owned lands.
