Eldar Loncarevic

Eldar’s professional experience includes:

• Transvaginal Mesh MDL Settlement – Eldar serves as the deputy for the settlement administrator, effectively managing the review of more than 65,000 claims for a $3.4 billion mass tort. He collaborates with defense counsel, claimants’ counsel, and lien administrators to navigate competing requests and confidentiality obligations, monitor claims for patterns and anomalies, and analyze legal documentation.  Eldar is also the project manager for another $370 million mass tort and supervises the payment of 3,500 claims across 50 plaintiffs’ firms.
• Subrogation Wildfire Bankruptcy Trust – Eldar managed a team of 30 reviewers to accurately audit $11 billion of insurance data in accordance to the governing allocation agreement. In this capacity, he designed protocols, developed processes, and oversaw the operational workflow. Eldar is presently responsible for the regulation and distribution of insurance data for more than 50,000 claims as mandated by the bankruptcy court.
• Volkswagen TDI Emissions Settlement – Eldar designed the opt-out intake process to record data from plaintiffs that wished to reserve their right to file an individual lawsuit. In addition to this, he orchestrated a team to successfully archive more than 5,800 documents per strict deadlines determined by the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee.
• Hernia Mesh Liability Litigation – Eldar managed a neutral team to control access for both plaintiff and defendant users that exchanged documents within the same proprietary software during the pre-resolution stage. He developed and implemented quality control practices to maintain an ethical wall and secure confidential data.
• Asbestos Bankruptcy Trust – Eldar analyzed hundreds of complex legal depositions and medical operative reports, verified and resolved claim data and release documentation, and conducted research pertaining to exposure sites. 

Prior to joining Ankura, Eldar had roles with the Society for International Development and the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
