Ethan’s professional experience includes:

• Strategic financial advisor: Partnered with $200 million VC-backed mobility company to drive business restructuring and transformation initiatives. Developed liquidity forecast needed to demystify complex ABL debt structure and developed 5-year business plan to support equity raise.  Advised senior leadership and sponsors on successful refinancing of fleet collateral.
• Interim finance leader: Led financial transparency initiatives of a $500 million aftermarket parts distributor including development of 13- week cash forecast, business plan design, and processes to drive working capital improvement. Partnered with key stakeholders to execute refinancing and provide adequate liquidity.
• Financial business case: Created case for multinational finance & accounting shared services implementation at a $9 billion hospitality company. Partnered with leadership to evaluate staffing needs, and implanted end-to-end process for billing portfolio of more than 300 hotels.
• Forecast process development: Developed fleet cash-flow forecasting process for $9B global rental car company. Designed financial models and reporting needed to forecast weekly purchases and dispositions of vehicles and understand overall impact to collateral value and ABL borrowing base.
• Sales strategy: Designed and implemented go-to-market playbook for sales team at $2 billion global building products company.
• Management and analysis: Conducted revenue analysis, inventory management and analytics for a multinational apparel manufacturer and retailer. Managed liquidation of more than 10 million units of inventory, transition services agreement, and cash flow forecasts.

Prior to joining Ankura, Ethan worked at 2 consulting firms, once as part of the CFO Solutions team helping companies drive financial performance improvement initiatives, and once as a member of the Corporate Finance practice.
