- Multi-Building Mixed-Use Commercial: Engaged by the owner of a multi-building, mixed-use development to identify schedule risks, recommend potential areas of schedule mitigation, and evaluate contractor change orders.
- Industrial Facility (Retrofit): Analyzed project delay and prepare time extension requests on a facility retrofit project in the Western U.S. Her focus was on the evaluation and quantification of impacts related to the COVID-19 pandemic, including analyzing schedules during the construction of the work to identify project delay, and coordination with the project team to analyze project records including manpower, quantities, and design submittals to support analysis and claim preparation.
- Large-Scale Highway Expansion: Engaged by the contractor to prepare claims related to loss of productivity (disruption) due to design errors/defects on a more than $1.2 billion roadway expansion project. Her involvement is characterized by close coordination with the project team to understand the schedules, project documentation, and unique project issues. Prepared report for binding arbitration.
- Defense Project: Engaged by the government to evaluate over four years of delay on an international defense project. Her involvement included a comprehensive review of submitted claims, including delay and issue analysis by contractor, in addition to an independent analysis of more than four years of project delay.
- Commercial/Residential Facility: Engaged by counsel on behalf of the contractor to evaluate project delays at a senior living residence in Florida, identifying project issues, including extreme weather, supply chain issues, design changes/inconsistencies, and testing/inspections. Prepared report used in binding arbitration and supported expert and counsel throughout hearings.
- Utility-Scale Solar: Engaged by counsel on behalf of electrical subcontractor to defend and prepare delay claims on a utility-scale solar facility in Texas. Analyzed project schedule delays using schedules and additional project records. Prepared reports for arbitration, assisted in preparation of expert arbitration presentation(s), and supporting testifying expert and counsel at arbitration.
- Utility-Scale Solar: Engaged by contractor on two utility-scale solar projects in the Pacific Northwest to assist with the preparation of claims against owner and subcontractor(s) in different proceedings. Her involvement focused on the evaluation of time extension requests and change orders, performing independent schedule delay analyses using project schedules and other available documentation, and issue review. Prepared reports for arbitration(s) and supported testifying expert/counsel.
- Water Treatment Facility: Engaged by contractor to evaluate subcontractor delay/disruption claims on a water treatment facility in Colorado. Her involvement focused on the technical evaluation of claims and included support during and presentation at mediation.
- Utility-Scale Wind Farm (400MW): Engaged by a major project supplier to defend and prepare claims related to supply delays. Her involvement included close coordination with the project team to analyze project records, including individual analysis of over 1,500 turbine components from various project documentation, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports, photographs, inventory reports, and schedules. Prepared report for binding arbitration.
- Residential Community Development: Engaged to prepare and defend claims on residential community project in Florida, including development of both the project site and building construction. Analyzed project schedules and performed issue review. Prepared report for arbitration.
- Transportation Project: Engaged by the design-builder on an over $1.2 billion project to evaluate project delays on a large public transportation project in the Western U.S. Analyzed more than four years of project schedules and records and worked closely with counsel and client to prepare reports and support counsel in preparation for arbitration.
