Jeff O'Brien

Jeff brings over 15 years of professional experience in advisory services and public accounting. For the past 11 years, Jeff has led several hundred financial due diligence engagements, representing both private equity firms and strategic investors. During this time, he has advised private and public companies across diverse sectors, including healthcare, software/SaaS, professional services, restaurant and hospitality, aerospace, media and telecom, and manufacturing and distribution.

Over the last seven years, Jeff’s primary focus has been on healthcare transactions, encompassing physician practices, hospital systems, ambulatory surgical centers, home health, senior living facilities, urgent care centers, physical therapy practices, and behavioral health organizations.

In addition to buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, Jeff provides clients with insights on structuring purchase agreements, compensation arrangements, and other deal mechanics critical to executive decision-making. He has partnered with some of the largest national operators in the dental and vision sectors to execute high-growth corporate development strategies.

Prior to joining Ankura, Jeff helped establish, lead, and grow a national healthcare transaction advisory team at a top-five global accounting firm.
