Experience
Prior to joining Ankura, JoLynn served as Director of Global Finance Transformation at McDonald’s, where she led a multi-year global cloud finance transformation spanning financial reporting, consolidations, procurement, payroll, planning, and analytics. Throughout her career, she has led complex finance transformations, ERP recovery efforts, acquisition integrations, business separations, and organizational redesign initiatives across multiple industries. She is recognized for aligning finance, operations, and technology organizations to deliver measurable business outcomes and lasting enterprise value.
JoLynn’s industry and consulting project relevant experience includes:
- EBITDA Improvement and Finance Modernization: Led finance transformation and ERP recovery initiatives that improved reporting accuracy, accelerated financial close processes, enhanced governance, and identified sustainable EBITDA improvement opportunities through automation and process optimization
- Interim CTO and CAO Leadership: Served in interim roles for organizations undergoing complex business transformations and separation initiatives. Led technology modernization, governance, and operational readiness activities to establish standalone operating models, support business continuity, and enable successful organizational transitions with reduced operational and financial risk.
- Global Finance Transformation Leader: Led a multi-year cloud finance transformation for a $23 billion global foodservice retailer, modernizing financial reporting, consolidations, planning, procurement, payroll, and data governance capabilities.
- Finance Shared Services Transformation: Advised a major electric utility company through the redesign of finance and accounting shared services operations, supporting business case development and operational improvements.
- ERP Remediation and Close Optimization: Directed a finance and technology turnaround for a $4.6 billion global spirits company, reducing the month-end close cycle from Workday 20 to Workday 3 and achieving 99% net sales accuracy.
- ERP Deployment and Business Separation: Supported a $50 billion global food company through a large-scale ERP transformation, acquisition integration, and business separation initiative.
- Global Reporting Transformation: Led the design of statutory, tax, U.S. GAAP, and IFRS reporting processes for a $28 billion pharmaceutical company across more than 30 countries.
- Utility Accounting Transformation: Designed and implemented contract accounting and tax processes for a $13.7 billion energy and utility company, strengthening financial controls and reporting compliance.
