Experience
Kendra’s professional experience includes:
- Prepared multiple property insurance claims resulting from hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria in 2017. These claims included business interruption, extra expense, and property damage components. Insureds included companies in the following industries: retail, manufacturing, hospitality, education, and telecommunications.
- Prepared a business interruption and property damage claim for a healthcare company that develops and operates full-service proton therapy centers. The claim involved considerations for subrogation and alternative cancer treatments.
- Prepared various claims for senior living communities. Losses resulted from fires, freezes, hurricanes, and floods. Claims involved business interruption, extra expense, and property damage.
- Assisted in the preparation of a business interruption, property damage, and extra expense claim for a large senior care client. Losses stemmed from hurricanes Dolly, Ike, and Gustav. Total losses exceeded $70 million.
- Prepared a fidelity claim for a hotel involving the alleged misappropriation of approximately $80,000 by one of its key employees. Investigation included the study and analysis of bank, credit card, and financial statements and the preparation of a database quantifying the amount of the theft.
- Quantified losses stemming from a ransomware attack on a law firm.
- Assisted in the preparation of an expert report for litigation surrounding a provider of network services and related products for telecommunications service providers. The provider was accused of breach of fiduciary duty, mismanagement, and waste of assets and violations of federal securities laws.
- Assisted in the preparation of an expert report for litigation surrounding a hedge fund company accused of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and constructive fraud.
