Patrick Jaroski is a Managing Director at Ankura, with over 14 years of experience in the construction industry specializing in project management and oversight, project advisory, claims management, and dispute resolution. Patrick has worked with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, lenders, design professionals, and their counsel, to mitigate risks, address challenges and improve delivery of their capital projects and programs. Patrick’s experience spans a wide-range of industries including: commercial building, healthcare, higher-education, pharmaceutical, entertainment, K-12 education, transportation, power generation/transmission, mining, and oil and gas. Patrick has provided delay and disruption expert testimony during settlement negotiations, mediation and arbitration and was recognized as a Construction Expert – Future Leader by Who’s Who Legal in 2019 – 2021.


Patrick’s professional experience includes:

  • Hotel and Casino Expansion: Engaged by a hotel and gaming company to perform a construction manager standard of care evaluation and schedule delay analysis in connection with a $250 million expansion of an existing casino.
  • Resort and Casino Development: Engaged by a developer to evaluate the construction manager’s performance during construction of a $3.5 billion resort and casino project.
  • Combined-Cycle Power Plant: Provided expert analysis and testimony of delays and disruptions on behalf of an electrical subcontractor for arbitration of claims in connection with construction of a $750 million 655 MW gas-fired combined-cycle power plant.
  • Regional Transit Authority Fare System Replacement: Engaged by a contractor to evaluate delay and disruption claims submitted by subcontractors during a $210 million project to replace the fare payment and collection systems across the regional rail, subway, trolley, and bus network.
  • Offshore Natural Gas Pipeline: Engaged by a major North American energy company to analyze contractor claims and overall project progress and performance during construction of a $2.1 billion 800 km offshore natural gas pipeline.
  • Power Transmission Line: Engaged by a general contractor to analyze disruptions and prepare an expert rebuttal report for arbitration of claims in connection with construction of a $383 million 500 kV transmission line.
  • Energy-from-Waste Power Plant: Engaged by a multinational energy production company to evaluate 497 disputed change orders for arbitration of claims in connection with construction of a $236 million energy-from-waste power plant.
  • Stadium Renovation and Expansion: Analyzed delays and disruptions and prepared a request for equitable adjustment on behalf of an electrical subcontractor during mediation of claims in connection with a $400 million project to add three new buildings totaling approximately 800,000 square feet to an existing stadium at a major university.
  • Hospital Inpatient Tower: Engaged by a hospital authority to evaluate claims submitted by the electrical and mechanical and plumbing subcontractors during construction of a new $370 million inpatient tower.
  • Pharmaceutical Laboratory, Vivarium and Office Fit-out: Provided expert analysis and testimony of delays and disruptions on behalf of a mechanical subcontractor for arbitration of claims in connection with a $40 million project to convert a 191,000 square foot existing building into laboratory, vivarium, and office space.
  • Multi-Purpose Stadium: Engaged by an architectural exterior paneling subcontractor to validate its claimed damages for mediation of claims in connection with construction of a $1.1 billion multi-purpose stadium.
  • Global EPC Contractor Project Controls and Risk Assessment: Engaged by a group of lenders to a global engineering, procurement, and construction contractor to evaluate execution risks, prepare cost models and develop mitigation strategies for key projects totaling over $12.1 billion.
  • Renewable Energy EPC Contractor Risk Assessment: Engaged by an investor to a renewable energy company focused on the engineering, procurement, and construction of utility-scale solar and storage projects to evaluate operational and project execution risks impacting company performance.
  • University Capital Program: Engaged by a major university to perform an assessment of its facilities planning and construction department that managed approximately 400 projects per year as part of its $2.4 billion five-year capital improvements plan to identify risks and develop improvement recommendations.
  • Natural Gas Transmission and Storage Company: Developed a capital project playbook for a major natural gas transmission and storage company to consolidate and enhance the processes, procedures, roles, and responsibilities required to initiate, plan, execute, and close capital projects.
  • Federal Agency Project Controls Assessment and Implementation: Engaged by a federal agency to evaluate and improve existing procedures for procuring, deploying, and installing transportation security equipment in over 450 airports nationwide.
  • Oil and Gas Company: Engaged by a multinational oil and gas company to develop a case study focused training program on industry accepted methodologies for assessing delay, acceleration, loss of productivity and damages.
