Robert Adams is a Managing Director at Ankura based in Dallas, with more than 28 years of overall experience in the engineering and construction industry. He spent more than 18 years working onsite at large industrial construction projects, mostly in the petrochemical and mining industry. During his tenure in construction, he worked in the field as a document control coordinator, then a site scheduler. Subsequently, he gained experience that enabled him to take on greater responsibility in project planning and scheduling.

Experience

Throughout the years, Robert has worked in all aspects of project controls, eventually leading a team of analysts as lead planner, and finally as project controls lead on multi-billion-dollar mega projects in Canada, the United States, and the Middle East. For the past 10 years, working as a construction delay and claims consultant, Robert has regularly provided services and offered expert opinions on all aspects of construction claims, dispute resolution, project risk, and construction management. Robert has been retained to develop reports and presentations for construction related labor productivity, schedule delay analysis, impact evaluations, as well as to serve in a project advisory role on active construction projects. He has prepared written delay analysis reports and prepared for mediation as a subject matter expert.  Robert has presented at mediation and settlement discussions and has offered his expert opinions related to construction management, and delay and impact evaluation.
