Rujuta’s professional experience includes the following:

• Managed a patent infringement dispute involving alleged infringement of patents covering suspended particle-device films and light valves comprising liquid suspensions. Conducted and supervised fieldwork for discovery; led client calls; and provided clients with summaries, time lines, and analyses of license agreements, financial statements, and appropriate market data in the preparation of early case assessments.
• Managed aspects of a patent infringement matter between competitors in the market for external defibrillators, and addressed issues including lost profits damages and determination of a reasonable royalties. Performed detailed analyses of the Georgia-Pacific and Panduit factors, drafted sections of the preliminary expert report, and assisted with deposition preparation of witnesses.
• Assisted the senior compliance officer at an international financial institution with the review of 103 and 202 cover transactions for offshore bank accounts, and compiled results for incorporation into a government inquiry response.
• Conducted a forensic accounting investigation of an interior demolition and hauling company accused of bid rigging. Developed and executed substantive analytical testing procedures to identify and monitor key financial and operational risks. Provided recommendations to the management team, and prepared quarterly reports for the government agency.
• Assisted major financial institutions in their defense of alleged mortgage fraud, by reviewing mortgage loans for fraudulent underwriting practices and synthesizing the information into coherent and defensible summaries.
