Jaime Minihane is a Managing Director at Ankura with more than 15 years of experience in federal investigations, national security, and threat assessment and analysis for the Department of Defense. She has a long professional history of conducting complex criminal and counterintelligence operations and investigations worldwide. She is based in Boston.
Jaime’s professional experience includes:
- Serving as a member of Ankura’s court-appointed independent oversight and Claims Supervisor role for a $10 billion remedial payments program undertaken by a car manufacturer in connection with a consumer protection and environmental matter arising from consolidated class action litigation as well as from Federal Trade Commission and DOJ/Environmental Protection Agency, and other government agency enforcement actions.
- National Security Compliance and Regulatory Actions: Served as a Special Agent for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations at various worldwide locations. Provided subject matter expertise to multiple AFOSI detachments, ensuring the critical infrastructure, missions, and internal processes of Air Force interests vital to national security were protected from threats and were postured within DoD regulations. Assisted in the identification of vulnerabilities at each location, and subsequently identified best practices to mitigate prospective risks. Performed audits and reviews of complex investigations and operations to identify anomalies inconsistent with AFOSI and DoD policies and procedures.
- Supervisory Team Chief: Led a dynamic team of professionals at a counterintelligence office for a DoD agency in Washington, DC. Planned, directed, and executed complex counterintelligence initiatives in response to the needs of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Office of the Director of US National Intelligence. Provided critical detection of various threats to national security, and enhanced significant information flow across multiple DoD entities. Led numerous engagements in North and South America, the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
- Served in the US Air Force as an officer and federal agent with the AFOSI. Conducted major felony investigations on behalf of the Secretary of the Air Force and applied meticulous measures to ensure the integrity of investigations withstood scrutiny of the armed forces justice system. Also, served as a liaison to the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency and enabled the engagement and collaboration of each respective organization’s critical-threat program priorities.
