Jonathan joined Ankura with the firm’s 2018 acquisition of c3/consulting. His recent engagements include fostering cross-functional collaboration and alignment through project management for a global healthcare organization developing its own electronic medical records system; creating a roadmap and leading the execution of multiple expansion initiatives for a growing healthcare company; and developing and driving actionable work plans across strategic focus areas to support a global technology startup’s goal of doubling revenue within a year. In all cases, his focus is on building momentum and empowering teams for sustainable success.
Prior to c3/consulting, Jonathan worked in media operations for the National Football League. In that role, he was responsible for contributing to the development of annual playing schedule, fostering relationships with the NFL’s media partners, and facilitating processes to streamline the production of NFL games.
Jonathan’s professional experience includes:
- Project Management & Process Optimization, Global Healthcare Organization: Managed coordination of requirements gathering, software development, and end-user testing for the three most critical components of a multi-million-dollar effort to develop a custom electronic medical records system. Each component required shaping a shared vision of success and fostering cross-functional collaboration and alignment, from senior leaders to development teams and researchers. Jonathan’s work also included re-shaping the project change request process for the program, aligning senior leaders in IT and business to allow for greater visibility into and measurement of change requests.
- Strategic Planning & Process Optimization, Global Technology Services Startup: Developed and drove initial implementation of a 12-month strategic plan to support four key focus areas designed to double revenue within a year. Created baseline workflow process maps to: capture end-to-end operational processes; identify opportunities to enhance scalability and profitability; and align on actions for improvement to meet aggressive growth objectives. Designed and implemented reporting cadences to cultivate alignment, accelerate decision-making, and introduce accountability.
- Strategic Planning, Multi-Billion Dollar Global Aviation Company: Developed a five-year strategic roadmap to support the achievement of eight key focus areas across four distinct business units. To align the disparate business units across the eight focus areas, Jonathan facilitated several strategic planning sessions with key C-suite executives, uniting them around a shared understanding and commitment to the definition and prioritization of key initiatives.
- Project Management & Process Optimization, Direct-to-Consumer Healthcare Manufacturer: Led key components of a corporate expansion and relocation, seamlessly transitioning their manufacturing and call center operations to minimize down time. To facilitate success, Jonathan developed a visual tool to capture critical process dependencies at risk in the relocation for the manufacturing operation. In addition to the expansion and relocation initiative, Jonathan also developed a roadmap and led accelerated execution of multi-location rollout of retail stores.
