Priscilla Branch is a Managing Director at Ankura, located in the Washington, DC office. She brings over 25 years of experience cleaning, fixing, organizing, and analyzing data using SAS software on behalf of a variety of US government entities. She has worked with the Departments of State, Treasury, and Housing and Urban Development (HUD), federal agencies such as the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and government-backed lenders Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. She is highly skilled at developing analytic data solutions that shed light on and bring clarity to meeting challenging objectives.

Experience

Priscilla’s most recent position before joining Ankura was SAS team lead and project manager at the National Data Center of HUD, where she automated a monthly process that had not been updated in 15 years. Her efforts transformed what had been a labor-intensive, manually-operated process, reducing human intervention by 86 percent and substantially mitigating errors.

She previously worked at the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), a division of the Department of Treasury. She was charged with enhancing the data-driven tasks used by approximately 200 analysts. Priscilla developed analytical tools specific to analysts’ needs and pioneered the creation of customized instructions for their use. She also prepared and led training sessions that helped analysts better understand FinCEN’s database of suspicious activity filings.

At the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Priscilla worked with a small analytic team that successfully demonstrated illegal manipulation of LIBOR and Euribor rates manipulation by Barclays Bank. Her efforts led to a $443 million settlement by Barclays.
