Shishir Bhargava is a Senior Director at Ankura based in Washington, DC. He advises clients on transactions and governance-related matters across multiple industries with a focus on the oil and gas and chemicals sectors. His transaction experience includes supporting companies develop their deal strategy, screen investments, structure and restructure joint ventures, build transaction capabilities, and negotiate better outcomes.
Prior to Ankura, Shishir worked with Hero MotoCorp of India, the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, which was established as a joint venture with Honda Motorcycles of Japan.
Shishir holds an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, where he graduated in the top 5% of this class, cleared the CFA level 1, and received the academic excellence award for his outstanding academic performance. He also holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Bhopal, India.
