Prior to that, Stacy was a senior auditor at a global consulting firm in the audit practice where she supported U.S. GAAP (SEC) audits and managed Sarbanes-Oxley internal control testing.

Stacy’s professional experience includes:

• Experience in assisting clients with technical accounting inquires, including performing research and drafting memos summarizing accounting conclusions. Technical accounting areas of concentration include: Consolidation (ASC 810), Business Combination (ASC 805), Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), Leasing (ASC 842), and Stock-Based Compensation (ASC 718).
• Supported a large financial statement restatement. Led preparation of analysis related to various topics including, but not limited to, SAB 104 and ASC 606, Revenue Recognition.
• Supported a Fortune 100 company with accounting policy support, including drafting of accounting memos for various business and asset divestiture transactions, quarterly VIE consolidation review, and drafting of accounting policy for foreign currency matters (ASC 830).
• Led fresh start accounting engagements with business enterprise value ranging from $300 million to $2 billion. Support included preparation of predecessor and successor financial statements and drafting its 10-K and 10-Q, and technical accounting support including the application of fresh start accounting.
• Led multiple engagements assisting clients in assessing the impact of ASU 2014-09, revenue from contracts with customers, on their business.
• Supported a Fortune 100 company in business divestiture, including preparing SEC compliant carve-out financial statements, schedules, and footnotes.
