Zsolt Macskasi

Since joining the firm in 2010, Zsolt has been involved in numerous mass tort and class action litigation cases. Some of the matters he worked on settled for billions of dollars in damages. Zsolt has also been involved in writing expert reports and conducting analyses in support of various other types of litigation cases.

Before joining Ankura, Zsolt was a manager and a senior economist at Bates White, an economics consulting firm based in Washington, DC. Across a diverse array of industries, he led engagements and conducted analyses in various types of antitrust cases, including mergers, monopolization, and price fixing. Zsolt worked closely with clients from law firms, businesses, and government agencies on these matters.

Previously, Zsolt worked at ABN-Amro Bank, a Dutch bank with large international operations. Zsolt was an advisor to the director of strategic planning. Among his primary responsibilities was the development of regular interest-rate risk reports used in financial product development and pricing.
Zsolt started his career as a research assistant at the Hungarian Institute of Economics, where he was involved in various projects concerning the labor market conditions and labor market outlook in Hungary.
