Amy’s professional experience includes:
- Managed nationwide matter involving the proper tax remittance in the online travel industry. Served as consulting expert to major online travel companies. Conducted and supervised the analysis of millions of hotel and car rental transactions, created damages models, drafted expert reports, and assisted at depositions.
- Managed numerous matters involving patent infringement disputes in federal courts and before the International Trade Commission in a broad range of industries including telecommunications, electronics and computing, and pharmaceutical and biotechnology. Addressed issues including lost profit damages and the determination of reasonable royalties. Drafted sections of expert reports and provided support at both deposition and trial.
- Analyzed trading databases consisting of billions of order and trade records for various matters involving high-frequency and algorithmic trading in the futures and equity markets. Used data analysis to interpret trading strategies, detect alleged spoofing, layering, and market manipulation. Designed demonstratives used in expert reports and at trial.
- Provided consulting support in numerous antitrust matters including the analysis of liability and damages issues related to cartel allegations, analysis of damages due to the anti-competitive effect on prices due to bid rigging and price fixing schemes, and the analysis of competition among differentiated products, in various industries.
