Giuseppe Gariboli

Since moving to Dubai in 2008, Giuseppe has worked as a consultant on numerous projects acting on behalf of subcontractors and contractors developing extension of time and disruption claims as well as reviewing and determining claims submitted on behalf of employers.

Giuseppe has also undertaken extensive roles as the lead expert witness assistant providing planning and delay analysis support to delay experts in complex arbitrations under DIAC and ICC rules for commercial and residential building projects. Within this role, Giuseppe assisted with the preparation of the statement of claim, reviewed the other party’s expert reports and prepared forensic delay analysis submissions to demonstrate and establish the cause and effect of a variety of delay events.

Giuseppe has also worked closely with a claimant’s legal representative and produced an independent delay analysis report for an arbitration on a waste-water scheme project in Oman and then provided oral evidence to the Tribunal appointed expert.

Giuseppe’s professional experience includes:

• Preparation of an extension of time claim for a specialist system subcontractor on a metro project in the United Arab Emirates.
• Review of Contractor’s Extension of time claim on behalf of the Employer for the installation of services to a new substation project in the United Arab Emirates.
• Preparation of an extension of time claim for specialist system subcontractor for the installation of IT and ITS services to a new data communication and control center in the United Arab Emirates.
• Preparation and substantiation of claims including arbitration support for a multinational contractor on an accommodation and utilities project in the United Arab Emirates.
