Jillian Frist is a Senior Director at Ankura, based in the Nashville office. With more than 15 years of experience, she specializes in managing large-scale, complex business and technology transformational initiatives. From planning through delivery, she creates business solutions designed for long-term sustainability. Jillian has experience in program management, change management, process improvement, software development, budget management, and vendor management. She combines business and technical acumen with perceptive leadership, skills that have allowed her to anticipate program risks and earned her the trust of C-suite executives. Through change leadership she expertly manages tension across teams and moves people from stagnation to progress.

Experience

Jillian has led such enterprise initiatives as revenue cycle management, clinical and quality reporting, and clinical and operational process improvements.

Prior to her work with Ankura, Jillian led large technology implementations across multi-site locations in the hospitality industry.

Jillian’s professional experience includes:

  • Business Transformation, Healthcare System: Led a team through a revenue-cycle transformation program across a multi-facility system to reduce data variability and standardize processes and procedures.
  • Program Leadership, Large Healthcare System: Directed programs that addressed key operational and organizational processes to safeguard uninterrupted quality patient care when electronic health records were offline.
  • Process Improvement, Large Healthcare System: Led billing and revenue cycle process improvements that enabled the organization to determine future strategic initiatives.
  • Program Leadership, Large Healthcare System: Directed efforts that addressed several complex clinical and compliance initiatives, including patient centered medical home (PCMH), clinical reporting, meaningful use stage 1 and stage 2, and physician quality reporting system (PQRS).
  • Project Management, Restaurant Holding Company: Managed a kitchen-display technology project with a budget of approximately $10 million. This involved site-by-site adjustments to account for differences across 350 sites. Jillian also coordinated with the third-party vendor for development, training, and scheduling, managed installation and support activities across training, operations, and IT, and helped design enterprise-level reporting that highlighted performance gaps.
  • Project Management, Hospitality Industry: Managed the conversion from frame relay to MPLS for a large restaurant holding company, handling the $5 million budget and overseeing the project from planning through implementation. This involved coordinating among the vendor, the technical department, and 350 locations with unique requirements.
