Michael Russano is a Senior Managing Director and the Global Head of Litigation at Ankura, based in New York. Michael has more than 15 years of experience advising and representing clients in complex litigation and investigations, with particular expertise in bankruptcy litigation. Michael has worked extensively with testifying and consulting experts in such disciplines as solvency, valuation, executive compensation, industry expertise, restructurings, and financial advisory. His clients and counterparties have included corporations, financial institutions, accounting firms, private equity firms, and hedge funds.
Experience
Prior to joining Ankura, Michael was a litigation counsel at the law firm of Davis Polk & Wardwell, where he took leading roles in numerous complex commercial litigations and investigations. His experience encompassed motion practice, trial preparation and strategy, presentation of direct fact and expert witness testimony, cross-examination of witnesses, and oral arguments.
