Patrick McCarthy

Patrick is involved with forensic schedule and cost analyses of construction claims, delay and productivity analyses, change order analyses, project budget tracking, and providing dispute resolution litigation support for the construction and real estate industries.

His experience includes:

• Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Facility: Works on a team that is assisting a contractor with identifying and calculating delay damages and lost productivity on an LNG Plant expansion project in the United States. The project is ongoing.
• Ethylene/Propylene Cracking Plant: Worked as a consultant providing support of schedule analyses on an Ethylene/Propylene cracking plant. Patrick’s team was retained by the plant’s owner to review the contemporaneous project records and develop a schedule analysis to support an insurance claim. Patrick was responsible for reviewing and analyzing key project documentation, support of schedule analysis, and development of presentations of findings. Patrick also helped to support the development of a report of findings and supported expert deposition preparation for arbitration, which ultimately led to a ruling in favor of the client.
• Hydro-Electrical Plant: Assisted with and performed damages analysis and developed an expert report of findings in relation to a dispute between the construction partner in an EPC consortium for a hydro-electric plant.
• Worked as a consultant providing support of schedule analyses on a project involving power upgrades on a major rail line. Patrick assisted with the preparation of schedule analysis using contractors’ schedules and other contemporaneous records, development of findings in an expert report, and preparation for expert testimony in an arbitration.
