From 1994-2000, he provided support to Global One, an international telecommunication company. Bob wrote, maintained, and installed a system that stored and forwarded billing information collected from a variety of switches installed in 14 countries around the world.

Before this, Bob was president of NCI Systems Inc., a software solution provider. For 10 years, he provided support to MCI Telecommunications Inc., where he developed the Site Controller, a system to gather performance and error statistics and provide remote command and control for various telecommunication devices such as digital cross connects and extended super-frame monitoring units.
