Steve Moore

Steve has a proven track record of successfully working with businesses to solve complex operational and financial issues. Prior to joining Ankura, he was a principal at a special situations advisory firm. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer for Nice Pak Products, a global manufacturer of wet wipes. Prior to that, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Bankruptcy Management Solutions, a California-based software company, where he led a successful operational and debt restructuring. The company was ultimately sold to Stone Point Capital, and Steve was retained to serve as chairman.

Steve has held a number of management positions including Chief Restructuring Officer (“CRO”) of Movie Gallery/Hollywood Video, a retail chain with 3,000 stores across the U.S.; CRO of Highland Hospital, where he led the 363 sale as part of the Chapter 11 proceeding; CRO of The Legacy Companies, a manufacturer of consumer and commercial kitchen appliances; Chief Operating Officer of JJB Sports, a UK sporting goods retail chain; Chief Administrative Officer (“CAO”) and CRO of Friedman’s, a specialty jewelry company; and CAO and plan administrator of Service Merchandise.
