Sundaresan Venkatraman

Sundaresan assists delay expert witnesses in arbitrations and claims preparation/advice and has deep knowledge in various forms of contract including FIDIC, JCT, NEC, and bespoke contracts. He presents and tailors delay analyses for employers, contractors, and engineers. He provides independent opinion on delay entitlement, claims programs, merits, and areas of improvement.

Previously, Sundaresan was a senior/lead project planner responsible for project controls and monitoring. This included management of staff directly for major construction companies in the Middle East on large, high-value projects across an array of different sectors, including high-rise building, airport, infrastructure, and industrial. He has extensive experience in delay analysis and critical path analysis, program and progress reviews, extension of time (EOT) claims, causation analysis, appropriateness of various delay analyses techniques, and productivity analysis.

• Road Project, Kazakhstan: Assistant to delay expert witness in ICC arbitration between contractor and employer.
• Expressway, Oman: Assistant to delay expert witness in an arbitration (under Oman Arbitration Law) between contractor and employer.
• Chemical Complex, Saudi Arabia: Assistant to delay expert witness in a largest ICC arbitration between engineering consultant and employer. Assisted on delay matters relating to power distribution stations and steam generation unit.
• Sewage Treatment Plant, Oman: Assistant to delay expert witness in ICC arbitration between subcontractor and main contractor.
